Grades 9–12 Expectations:

In grades 9–12 all students should:

  • Develop a deeper understanding of very large and very small numbers and of various representations of them;
  • Summarize, represent, and interpret data on a single count or measurement variable
  • Statistics and Probability—Interpreting Categorical and Quantitative Data

            Represent data with plots on the real number line.
            Summarize, represent, and interpret data on two categorical and quantitative variables
            Interpret linear models
  • Making Inferences and Justifying Conclusions

    Make inferences and justify conclusions from sample surveys, experiments, and observational studies 

            Evaluate reports based on data.
